Suspicion เป็นการร่วมงานกันอีกครั้งของฮิทช์ค็อกและโจน ฟอนเทน หลังจากเรื่อง Rebecca และจากการรับบทบาทในเรื่อง Suspicion นี้ก็ทำให้โจนได้รับรางวัลออสการ์สาขานักแสดงนำหญิงด ้วย อีกทั้งยังถือว่าบทจอห์นนี่ เอสการ์ธ เป็นการพลิกบทบาทของแครี่ แกรนท์พระเอกดังของยุคนั้นจากบทบาทหนุ่มหล่อตลกขี้เล ่นมาสู่ตัวเอกที่มีความ น่าสงสัยตามสไตล์หนังของฮิทช์ค็อกที่มักชอบให้ตัวละค รเอกไม่เป็นขาวหรือดำ อย่างชัดเจนเหมือนพระเอกในหนังทั่วๆไปในสมัยนั้น แต่แอบแฝงความชั่วร้ายภายใต้คราบของสุภาพบุรุษ
